About me

My name is Olga Ogienko. I have been living in Georgia for six years now and feel it as my home. Georgia has a special atmosphere, a kind of spiritual freedom that reveals the inner potential. It’s hard to resist the urge to capture the beauty around you when there’s so much of it. Most likely this was the starting point on the way to professional photography.
The main value of photography for me is that it allows you to capture the moment, to leave it in the memory of posterity. It is akin to a personal diary in which you enter your thoughts, desires, feelings. And I help, as a photographer, to create your unique signature through body language, reflecting beauty, sadness or mystery. Therefore, such a love for live emotions, not frozen frames, and often the heroes of my shooting dance during a photo shoot. I draw inspiration from the paintings of artists, in interaction with people, nature, the desire to reflect the points of contact with the world in my work. It is important when a photograph carries some meaning, metaphors or contains symbols. It is possible to reflect this in different directions: a portrait, family stories or love stories. For me, shooting families is a huge resource. The ability to capture emotions and touches, the look of children on adults and their love. Despite the fact that I have been engaged in professional photography relatively recently, my work this year was published in 15 magazines in New York, Italy, Scotland, France. Photos from travels in Georgia are posted on the Vogue Italia website. I am constantly in the process of learning, which allows me to move forward. And each creative project expands knowledge from new areas not related to photography. This is how a collection of hats began to be created, which is already used in filming. I would like to add that I am always ready for dialogue and open to new ideas.
